We save lives when it counts
Sunrise Hospital has provided quick and easy access to emergency care for nearly 60 years. We diagnose and treat our emergency room patients faster and better when every second is important. Our ER is staffed 24 hours a day with medical experts who commit their life’s work to patients in need.
If you are experiencing an emergency, dial 911.
Our triage program ensures that we can determine the level of care needed, start diagnostic treatments, order medications and begin life-saving interventions. Advanced digital imaging and other diagnostics are readily available and dedicated emergency services for children are available through Sunrise Children’s Hospital.
We are proud to offer our Consult-A-Nurse® program for our patients. It is a free service designed to provide you with physician referrals and health information.

Our emergency room has received the American College of Surgeons’ Level II trauma verification. With this type of accreditation, Sunrise Hospital provides critical wound care to the Southern Nevada community and neighboring states.
As a regional referral center and Level II Trauma Center, Sunrise Hospital provides advanced tertiary medical services for thousands of patients each year. Many patients needing a higher level of care are transported to Sunrise by ground or air ambulance.
Sunrise Hospital is pleased to announce our partnership with CareFlight Air Ambulance, Life Guard International—Flying ICU and MedicWest Ambulance. CareFlight, Life Guard and MedicWest Ambulance provide services within Southern Nevada and the surrounding areas. Their capabilities include helicopter, ground ambulance and fixed wing emergent and non-emergent care transport. Our EMS Community partnership, coupled with the expertise and experience of the teams of Sunrise Hospital and Sunrise Children's Hospital, help to enhance the critical care services offered to residents of Nevada and surrounding states.
