Oct 18 Update - Sunrise Health System Report on Las Vegas Mass Casualty
As of 8:00a.m., the updated patient count for the Sunrise Health System hospitals is as follows:
Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center
10 patients remain in the hospital
2 patients are still in critical condition
199 patients initially received*
16 fatalities
Southern Hills Hospital & Medical Center
12 patients treated and released
0 fatalities
MountainView Hospital
8 patients treated and released
0 fatalities
*Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center did not go on diversion at the onset of the mass casualty event. Due to the fluid nature of the event, non-concert trauma patients were still being received at Sunrise. Patients previously counted as victims of the concert shooting have now been removed from the total count of patients from the event.
