Sunrise Hospital Offers Free Community Education on Heart Murmurs and Heart Value Disease

LAS VEGAS, NV — Sunrise Hospital’s new Heart Murmur Program is offering a community education program on heart valve disease. Many people have valve disease and don’t know it.
Dr. Branavan Umakanthan, Cardiologist at Sunrise, and Dr. Nauman Jahanghir, Cardiovascular Surgeon at Sunrise, will present the program and provide information on:
- What is valve disease?
- Who is at risk?
- How is it detected?
- How is it treated?
You’ll also learn about a new treatment for valve disease that Sunrise is proud to offer.
The program will be held:
Saturday, December 10 at 9:00 a.m.

Following the program, nurses will be available to discuss valve issues and concerns with those in attendance on a one-on-one basis.
