Hospital kicks off new service through a free bariatric education program

LAS VEGAS, NV — Sunrise Hospital is proud to introduce its new Bariatric Surgery (Weight-Loss) Program. The program brings together the expertise and compassion of our experienced physicians and staff with the outstanding capabilities of Sunrise to offer a life-changing procedure.

To help introduce our new Bariatric Surgery Program, we are offering a community education program on weight loss surgery. Through this free session, you can learn more about:

  • Bariatric Surgery options
  • Who is an appropriate candidate for surgery
  • What is involved in the surgery and recovery process

Bariatric Surgeon, Dave Macintyre, D.O., will present the program. He is triple fellowship trained in bariatric surgery, trauma surgery and surgical critical care and is a member of the acute care surgery team at Sunrise Hospital.

The program will take place on:

Thursday, January 19
6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Thursday, March 1
6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Saturday, March 3
10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

All programs take place in the
Sunrise Hospital Auditorium

The program is free and open to the public, but registration is required.
