Season 11’s runner-up visits the Sunrise Health System hospitals September 19 & 20


LAS VEGAS—Hannah Curlee, Season 11 runner-up on NBC’s “The Biggest Loser,” will make an exclusive appearance through the Health to You (H2U) membership programs at Sunrise Hospital, Southern Hills Hospital and MountainView Hospital at the dates and times listed below. The sessions are free and open to the public.

Monday, Sept. 19

Sunrise Hospital

11:30 a.m.—Hannah provides a presentation on her own experience

Noon to 1 p.m.—Autograph and Meet & Greet Session

Location: Sunrise Hospital Auditorium at 3186 S. Maryland Parkway


Southern Hills Hospital

2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.—Autograph and Meet & Greet Session

Location: Southern Hills Hospital Main Lobby at 9300 W. Sunset Road


Tuesday, Sept. 20

MountainView Hospital

10 a.m. to Noon—Autograph and Meet & Greet Session

Location: MountainView Hospital Main Lobby at 3100 N. Tenaya Way


Hear about Curlee’s “Biggest Loser” experience and how she maintains her fitness routine while traveling the country through the H2U program’s personal health and fitness resources. Participants will receive a signed autograph and learn more about H2U, a health and wellness membership program offered by the Sunrise Health System of hospitals. Space is limited and participants will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis.


Curlee lost half of her original weight during the competition, finishing second to her sister Olivia Ward.  Curlee and Ward were the first female team to make it to the final and the first team to finish one-two.  Curlee weighed 248 pounds at the start of the season and dropped to 128 pounds by the finale.


Curlee was employed in the Human Resources Department of Hospital Corporation of America (HCA), parent company of the Sunrise Health System of Hospitals, when she and her sister decided to team up for The Biggest Loser.  Curlee is now the spokeswoman for the national H2U program promoting health and wellness education, screenings and community resources for adults.
