September 20, 2010 Las Vegas, Nevada -- Sunrise Hospital and eStudySite have launched a broadranging clinical research collaboration to provide patients with access to promising new drugs and treatments for a number of acute and chronic medical conditions including infections, pneumonia, influenza, hepatitis C, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and stroke. As part of the collaboration, eStudySite has opened a dedicated research medical clinic adjacent to the Sunrise Hospital, staffed by a seasoned team of medical and healthcare professionals who have expertise in screening and treating interested patients in targeted clinical research trials which have been reviewed by the Sunrise Hospital Institutional Review Board and which typically involve study designs approved by the FDA.
“I’m delighted to broaden Sunrise Hospital’s commitment to bringing cutting edge patient solutions and new product access to our patients and our medical community,” commented Sylvia Young, President and CEO of Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center. “We look forward to working together with eStudySite to identify key medical areas where we would like to provide our community access to new drugs and devices in an effort to provide our patients treatment alternatives as well as resources necessary to help address their medical needs.”
