Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center to Renovate and Expand Inpatient Rehab Unit

Las Vegas, Nevada – Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center is pleased to announce renovation and expansion plans to the adult inpatient Rehab Unit. The expansion will increase the number of beds from 30 to 42 to allow for increasing demand. The project, which is currently underway, is expected to be completed by Fall 2011.
The inpatient Rehab Unit is a comprehensive program offering physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, recreational therapy and specialized treatment from an experienced, multi-disciplinary team of care providers.
The inpatient Rehab Unit at Sunrise Hospital is the only unit in Clark County to be accredited by the Commission on the Accreditation of Rehab Facilities (CARF), meaning we implement and adhere to the highest standards of care. Additionally, the Sunrise Rehab Unit is the only stroke-specialty CARF accredited facility in the state providing advanced expertise and capabilities to care for patients who have experienced a stroke.
